HYFLYER was one of, if not
the best Chicagoland Rock and Roll bands of the late 70's and
early 80's. The band consisted of two equally talented flaming
guitarists, Perry Schober and the late Al Suarez. The always
energetic and entertaining Tom Stahnke on soulful vocals. Frank D.
Collett on the thundering Fibes drums, Vince Testa on the bi-amped
Fender P-Bass and Ed Curry on the Hamond B-3.
HYFLYER had no nucleus. Each individual member was
essential to this top quality high energy kick ass Rock and Roll
band.
Original songs are;
-
"Intro"
-
"Young Fool"
-
"Some To Something"
-
"Run Away"
-
"Bye Bye Baby"
-
"Born In The Red"
Posted in fond memory
of Al Suarez who died an early untimely Rock and Roll death.
Thanks for the memories.
